STACEY COX, LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR

Stacey Cox was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Southlake, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University. She went on to become a middle school and high school Literature and Writing teacher in both the public and private school setting.

Stacey left Texas, and married a Naval Officer. Since then, she has lived in Norfolk, Virginia; Bremerton, Washington; Monterey, California; Newport, Rhode Island; Jacksonville, Florida; San Diego, California; and currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Stacey has supported her husband through eight deployments over his fourteen-year service, to include his 18-month unaccompanied assignment in Sasebo, Japan. Her various insights and military community experiences build depth to her approachability, highlight her adaptability, and add value to our team! Recently, Stacey successfully completed the “0-L” Program with Harvard Law School.

The Coxes seize every opportunity to spend time at their 5th-generation cattle ranch, The San Augustine Ranch, just north of Las Cruces, New Mexico; a weekend in the shadows of the Organ Mountains is time well spent! The importance of legacy planning is rooted in the very fibers of Stacey's family. While she misses living at the beach, she’s exchanged beach sand for the high-desert sand. Locally, Stacey is a member of the Academy District 20’s School Board “Parent Sounding Board”, her children’s lacrosse club, and their church community. In her free time, Stacey enjoys exploring all that Colorado Springs has to offer with her husband and three children, cooking without recipes, playing in the sunshine, and home renovations.

Stacey is a member of Naval Officer Spouses' Club (NOSC), Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), Wild + Free, Pi Beta Phi Alumnus Association, and Mothers of Preschoolers/MOPS International. In the past, Stacey has held multiple executive positions in all aforementioned volunteer organizations.
